AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEE

Every timepiece we sell is guaranteed to be authentic and in proper working order. All watches purchased through eBay and Grailzee are authenticated through their respective authentication programs. If you believe a piece you received is inauthentic, please submit an inspection report from a certified watchmaker through our Contact page or reach out to us directly. We will work with you to resolve the matter immediately.

Once the report has been verified, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label. Please note that if a timepiece has been altered from its original condition at the point of sale — including movement swaps or significant damage — we reserve the right to decline the refund and return the watch to the purchaser.

MARITIMEPIECE'S PERSONAL WARRANTY

I warranty every watch I sell for a period of 6 months. If your timepiece malfunctions or stops working within that window, I will cover the cost of repairs. Simply reach out and I will provide a prepaid shipping label — I'll handle the rest and keep you updated throughout the process.

This warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence, abuse, or misuse. If your watch is still within its original factory warranty period, I recommend servicing it through an authorized repair facility.

TRADE-IN & BUYBACK

If you'd like to trade in a timepiece toward something in our current inventory, or sell a watch back to us, we're happy to make you an offer — provided the piece is in the same condition it was at the point of sale, accounting for normal wear. Our offers are consistently more competitive than what you'd receive from most jewelers or traditional gray market dealers. Direct trades are also accepted depending on the values involved.

SOURCING

We require a deposit of 10-15% of the anticipated watch value to begin the sourcing process. This deposit is fully refundable until we confirm and commit to purchasing the specific piece on your behalf. Once we have committed to the deal, the deposit becomes non-refundable as we have assumed financial responsibility for the transaction. If we are unable to locate the piece within 60 days, your deposit will be refunded in full.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law, Maritimepiece's liability relating to the purchase, sale, sourcing, trade, or servicing of a timepiece will not exceed the amount paid to Maritimepiece for the applicable transaction.

Maritimepiece is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from the ownership, use, loss of use, or resale of a timepiece.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions and any transactions with Maritimepiece will be governed by the laws of the state in which Maritimepiece operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our policies or services. The terms in effect at the time of your transaction will apply to that purchase.
